Riddle #14: Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby
March 27 – May 4, 2023

In the window: A reproduction of a painting by French 'naif' artist Michel Delacroix, depicting George Washington's Mount Vernon. The image is flanked by two stumps sourced from Ballard Enterprises in Crownsville, Maryland. One of the stumps supports a ruby goblet on a pewter stem.

In the door: a piece of wood with two holes; an image of Mario Merz, altered, that was produced by Triple Candie for "The Italian Job," an Artissima, Turin, commission that was canceled before it opened.
